The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Reestablishment, Gazment Bardhi, has accused the majority of attacking justice in a coordinated manner.
Bardhi said that the peak of the attack on justice was in the case of the mandate of Olta Xhaçka, where the SP is not implementing the decision of the Constitutional Court. He adds that justice should not be intimidated.
" I want to express concern about the attack that the majority makes on justice. Undoubtedly, the prime minister's increased nervousness in relation to the problems that have plagued him with justice due to misgovernance has made the self-proclaimed man who supported justice into the anathema of these institutions.
Intimidation that will absolutely not have to be taken into consideration by justice. This should not be tolerated when it comes to investigations of powerful people or people close to the prime minister
We have seen a coordinated attack by the mayor of Tirana regarding the unheard of corruption in the municipality of Tirana, where the team of the mayor were involved in a corrupt scheme where the money was transferred to the company owned by them.
The culmination of this coordinated attack reached its climax yesterday when, not on account of Olta Xhaçka, but on account of Edi Rama, they openly attacked the members of the Constitutional Court, even declaring that the court cannot be imposed on the Assembly ", said Bardhi.
Bardhi appealed to those who have supported the justice reform to react, since the non-implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court would be a dangerous precedent.
" I appeal to anyone who has supported the implementation of the reform in justice to react today because if the practice of not implementing the decisions of justice at will would be a dangerous practice that would blow up the principles that guide a legal state.
It would be a dangerous precedent, the majority will reflect to withdraw from the order it has given to the MPs not to implement the decision of the GJK and deliver to justice Olta Xhacke and then all the officials, led by Edi Rama ".
