Prime Minister Edi Rama from the International Nanotechnology Congress says that Albania is a country that dares and artificial intelligence is a key advantage for Albania.
The keynote of his speech was Minister Diella.
"Albania is a nation that dares to lead and not follow. By creating a Minister of AI, the first in the world, our country is not simply embracing the future, but contributing to its design," Rama said.
He emphasized that Diella is not a toy, but an instrument for transforming state power into a service to citizens, aiming for full transparency in public tenders and other processes.
"We are convinced that very soon we will offer an extraordinary mechanism for transparent and integrity-based public tenders like never before. Empowering AI is a fundamental pillar of our governance," said Rama, adding that the vision for Albania 2030 is based on integrity, innovation and scientific leadership.
The Prime Minister also underlined that the government will channel more resources and reforms towards building a nanotechnology ecosystem, centered in Tirana and expanding regionally.
