Fatbardh Kadilli says that in the May 11 elections, Prime Minister Edi Rama will receive a 4th consecutive mandate, while emphasizing that this will happen because of Sali Berisha and the MPs who follow him. Kadilli has also commented on the recent developments where the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, was arrested by order of SPAK.
"This is justice with Jacobin features. The Prime Minister attacked and labeled judges, exerted political pressure. Rama is trying to capitalize on the event and make the victim. Rama is remembered for standards today, but he did not remember standards when the blow was on the opposition. Both political parties have abandoned the citizen. I am glad that they are taking the piss out of each other. Politics is going into the elections morally stained.
The opposition fails to capitalize on what justice is doing. The opposition must maintain the same standard for Berisha and Meta. Politics has stuck its head in the SPAK guillotine. Berisha knows that he will not win the elections and we will have Prime Minister Edi Rama again. If the opposition does not do better than the government, it will not come to power. Democrats must unite to deliver results. Even new parties are not an offer," Kadilli said in an interview with News24.
He further emphasizes that there is no chance of rotation on May 11. According to him, the DP, which is one of the opposition realities as there are two other realities, is subservient to the president.
"Look at how the issue of primaries went, the statute was violated, there are no primaries, there will be an unnecessary, consultative vote. What are they worth? A party that is unable to hold elections within itself, does not give Albanians confidence that it will hold elections for Albanians tomorrow or that it will build a meritocratic administration. It has no free initiative. It is unable to speak differently from Berisha. Albanians between Edi Rama and Sali Berisha, unfortunately continue to vote for Edi Rama. This part of the opposition is aware that it will not win.
"Those aligned with Berisha know that they have no chance but they want to be in the game. No one will be bothered after the elections. The changes in the US have nothing to do with the Albanian reality. LaCivita? How can Albania get a great coach for the World Cup, Mourinho or Guardiola in the qualifiers, and hope not only to qualify but also to win the World Cup. Look at what flour you have... He was famous, a great coach who went to Finland and lost. He said, you gave me corn flour, I brought him corn bread... That's the thing, there is corn flour... Edi Rama wins because of the opposition, Sali Berisha and those who go after him", said Kadilli.
