Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a joint conference with his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni from the camp in Gjadër, commented on the "RAI 3" investigation.
According to him, the democratic agreement for immigrants turned into an abuse of the fourth power at the expense of the Albanians and the Italian people. Rama said that regarding this agreement mud was thrown at Albania, but he emphasized that Albania will never turn its 'back' to Italy.
He stated that their goal was to attack the agreement between the two governments. As he drew attention to the Afghan immigrants who came to Albania, Rama said that we are proud to be able to give our help after saving the Afghan immigrants from death, who were not accepted by any NATO member country.
"I express sadness for the half-truths that have been told in the Italian media about Albania. With the clear intention to attack the agreement between the two governments. They should be ashamed, all those who have turned the democratic right of this agreement into an abuse of the fourth power, and this at the expense of the Albanians and the Italian people.

Somewhere a few hundred meters from these in a large hotel lives at our expense lives a community of Afghans. There are 350 people who have escaped death.
For all of Europe we are proud to be able to give our help not as Europeans within the EU, but as Europeans with the EU.
The government has not known peace in the fight against crime and has never turned its back on Italy and friendly countries. Nearby lives an Afghan community, people who have fled from death after the fall of Kabul, people who have not been accepted by any NATO member country. Only a part of them went to the USA.
Some investigative journalists come here and they don't look at Afghans, they don't see hundreds of emigrants who have escaped death, but they see spirits of criminality, which exist in their minds when they pay the tickets to come to Albania, to inform the public with articles that have been prepared . I am proud of Albania that I can serve Italy", said the Prime Minister.
