Prime Minister Edi Rama said that there will be no relationship until the day that the three policemen who were arrested by the army a few days ago and who are being kept in cells are released.
He did not hesitate to compare the situation in the north of Kosovo with Ukraine and specifically the Donbas region in the east, occupied by Russia.
"The north of Kosovo would be the Donbass of Ukraine, far from it. Everything must be done so that this does not happen. "No, come on, there's no problem, we're taking the Kalashnikov once again, because it doesn't end after that," he said.
He said that the only beneficiary of what is happening in Kosovo is Vladimir Putin.
"The only beneficiary is that gentleman sitting in his bunker in the Kremlin. I have said that if an image was made, Russia would surely be furious, without neglecting the fact to exploit the fact on the ground with armed groups and other stories," he said.
At the press conference, Rama also accused Albin Kurti of risking to break Kosovo's relations with the Euro-Atlantic community. Also, Kurt's relations with the EU and the USA are at their worst, when planned visits are being turned back and no door is being opened.
"Things are not normal. They are bad and I am trying to do everything to avoid even the worst in the name of Albania and the government. They are doing something and with others the day will come to discuss the loyalty of strategic allies to Kosovo is bad , very bad. You think that I am pleased with the fact that since I do not agree with Albini on this topic and at this moment no door is opened for him and the planned visits to the offices of counterparts in Europe or America are turned back?! On the contrary it seems terrible. Or that certain cooperation programs of the EU with Kosovo have been frozen. I do not enter those whom I consider partners God himself. God is above the USA and Albania but in this case it is a disaster to break into this kind of religion such powerful and strong ties with the Euro-Atlantic community."
Rama said that he is ready to meet with Albini, but first Kurti must see how he is leading Kosovo.
"I am ready to meet with Albini at any moment. On a personal level there is no problem. You can see for yourself how well we get along, but on a conceptual level we have big problems"
