In the COD premises, the Prime Minister is presenting the GRECO report on Albania on the fight against corruption. The Prime Minister said that this is another "fortress" taken on the path towards the EU. He stated that according to the assessment, Albania is considered a regional leader in anti-corruption policies.

"This is another significant and encouraging report on the progress we have made, it is another milestone we are taking. When we started this journey, the reports from all sides were extremely problematic and this report comes after the Sigma report, which really gave us a lot of positive energy.

"Albania is ranked today as one of the 8 countries with the most substantial progress of the last decade. According to this index, Albania has performed better on all indicators compared to all measurements made previously. Albania is ranked one of the three countries with the greatest improvement in governance ," said Rama.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the opening of other chapters will continue, while warning of another wave of reforms.

"I want to emphasize that very soon we will continue with the opening of other chapters, contrary to what has been said recently in the political and media swamp reports.

For us, this is not a moment to sit back, but rather a motivation to be much more ambitious to go much further. We are preparing another wave of rule of law and anti-corruption reforms, while we as a government continue to do considerable, even greater work to make technological developments available to this progress. We are preparing a unique model for public procurement with artificial intelligence", said Rama.
