Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped in Tirana today following the thanksgiving tour.
From Kamza, Rama commented on the justice reform, saying that this was initiated by the SP and they will continue to support this reform, which is now irreversible.
Whoever abuses the duty, Rama says, should receive the appropriate punishment and there will be no compromise with anyone.
"A general secretary was caught red-handed receiving lek. How can this happen? The nice side of this coin is that it captures a person who is unworthy to hold a public office. I wish there were as many as possible, but I can't wish for as many people doing such things as possible.
It's really something heavy. Lack of sense of patriotism, sense of duty, lack of sense of ethics, to the point that in an important duty to fall to this kind of level is really terrible. Here we have opened this pandora's box ourselves, although we have not accepted by keeping the government of this country to continue the trend of several centuries where the powerful have never been called by justice. We have done this. We have chosen this path, there is no turning back and no compromise with anyone. I have known that this is not a road that will end quickly, but the road of a generation to achieve that this country has equal justice for all. This is a path with many difficulties, ugly, bitter situations, people who have taken everything", said Rama.
