The deputy of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, commented on the chaos in the Assembly yesterday, who said that the burning of the Regulations was a symbolic act, since in reality the ruling majority "set fire" to the Constitution and Regulations.
He added that the opposition no longer has the only control mechanism against the majority, which were the commissions.
"They burned the Constitution and the rules of the Assembly in time. Mine was a symbolic act. The opposition has been stripped of its rights to control the government. The commissions are a concrete way that the opposition has in hand to control the majority" , he said.
The PD MP also spoke about the investigative commissions.
"It is left up to the majority to decide on the establishment of investigative commissions, which were previously held by the minority. Rama has arrogantly said that he will not allow their creation. Commissions have been eliminated. The decisions of the Constitutional Court have gone in favor of the government.
Another truth that the President of the Constitutional Court stated is that she has not implemented even the decisions she did not agree with, such as the decision on Olta Xhaçka's mandate , he said.
Asked whether or not they feel responsible for the fact that the passage of important laws in the Assembly is being done in a chaotic manner, Paloka said that the opposition has never been heard in the Parliament, even if it were not such a tense situation.
"I would feel guilty if they stepped on us and we didn't react. As for the laws, it has sometimes happened that even the most banal remark of the opposition is heard once again in the Parliament. We discussed the budget for 2 days and 2 nights and no amendment was taken into account", he said for "News 24".
Paloka added that regarding the Electoral reform, the proposals that will be nominated to Prime Minister Edi Rama will be presented by the head of PD Lulzim Basha and will be sold as proposals accepted by the opposition.
"Electoral reform, the proposals that benefit Rama will be proposed by Basha and will be called as proposals that have been accepted by the opposition. Basha is not an opposition. Even the time when they entered the Assembly yesterday was set by Taulant Balla", declared Paloka.
