Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj gave his fourth consecutive interview today to Syri TV, where he repeated strong accusations about what he describes as a well-organized campaign against him and his family.
Ahmetaj has stated that for more than a year he has experienced unprecedented treatment in 30 years, directly linking it to political and institutional developments in the country.
In his statement, Ahmetaj said that his personal situation reflects the current Albanian reality.
" In relation to me and my family, many things have changed, just as they have changed in the Albanian reality over the course of a year. A deep, well-organized genocide against my family has continued. I have explained this to you off camera, but I have also said in front of the cameras that the way in which I and my family have been treated is unprecedented in 30 years. In fact, I have said since February 2023 that a semi-mafia structure exists ," he says.
