President Bajram Begaj has reacted to the kidnapping of three policemen in the north of Kosovo.
" The abduction of three Kosovo Police officers inside Kosovo territory by Serbian troops is a serious provocative act for the destabilization of Kosovo and the entire region. I strongly condemn this act and appeal to the Serbian authorities to release the Kosovar soldiers. I also call on international partners to intervene and discourage other similar actions.
I make a fraternal appeal to the Kosovo authorities not to fall prey to provocations and to give their contribution to the de-tensioning of the situation. Coordination with the US and the EU for the return to the dialogue table is extremely important ," writes Begaj.
