The head of the Freedom Party points the finger at Edi Rama, when he refers to the failure of the Electoral Reform, saying that the Commission should have been convened and decided on time.
In an interview for the "Opinion" column in News24, Ilir Meta said that Rama "terrified" the free elections, while he did not spare the accusations and ironies when he said that the prime minister has the DP stamp.
According to the former president, PL has done and will do everything for changes in the Electoral Reform. Meanwhile, he said that after the overthrow of the Investigative Commissions, it is time for the opposition to decide what position it will take and how it will act.

What happens now with the Parliamentary Committees?
It was expected that the President would give a new opportunity for reflection in the parliament, so that the opportunities given by the Constitution for the opposition and the parliament to exercise control over the executive would not be violated. Now we are in a situation where the opposition must assess what position it will take and how it will react in the future.
How important is Electoral Reform for PL?
It is vital for every citizen. It is vote infringement at the root of all this corruption and arrogance.
The only culprit that we do not have an Electoral Reform is Rama, and free and equal elections are his horror.
Is PL fighting to have the right electoral reform?
We have done and will do everything possible. One of our main causes is the issue of constitutional changes, where the electoral code was also affected, which practically destroyed parliamentarism. That is why we are in this situation of the Assembly.
It was expected that the Electoral Reform Commission meeting failed today... but what do you think, should it have been convened?
It should have been collected in time. Where the commission has done nothing to reflect on those dramatic elections, while for today, everyone expected this development. Because Rama's insistence on excluding the opposition from the process was very clear.
Why don't the official PS and DP think so?
They are one, because the seal is in Rama's pocket. This situation is a great responsibility of those deputies who become part of Rama's game and undermine the Electoral Reform. The reform must be all inclusive.
