The United States of America has declared almost 600 people undesirable since 2018 until the end of 2024. So in 7 years ( in 2018 the sanctioning under the law 7031 C started for the first time ), the Trump administration and then the Biden, have been tough on corrupt characters and who pose a threat to democracy.
From 2018 until 2023, a total of 583 individuals have been declared undesirable under Law 7031 C. During the year 2024, the number was lower than other times, but the sanctions continued, where only on the Day of the War Against Corruption, when Altin Dumani was decorated, 14 individuals were declared undesirable, including the former deputy Macedonian Prime Minister Artan Grubi.
But it is interesting that the first individual to be declared unwanted in the world is Adriatik Llalla. In the list provided by "Pamphlet" with unwanted individuals in the USA, Llalla is the one who leads. ( The list contains data from 2028 to September 2023, while DASH itself on the official website has published lists with names sanctioned thereafter ).
Former chief prosecutor Llalla was declared undesirable in 2018 together with his wife and children because he is accused of being involved in major corruption. Llalla was sentenced to two years in prison by the special court, but he has escaped.
The second name that leads the list is the head of PSD, Tom Doshi. He too was declared "non grata" in 2018 for massive corruption. Doshi then left Parliament and leads his party in the shadows.
The list continues with names such as Nikola Spiric, MP in Bosnia and Herzegovina; Yahya Jammeh, President of The Gambia; Roberto Jose Rivas Reyes, Speaker of the Parliament in Nicaragua; Blanca Aida Stalling Davila, former chief justice of Guatemala; 16 senior Saudi officials directly involved in the murder of Jamal Khashoggi; The Prime Minister of Chechnya, Muslim Magomedovich Kchuchiev, etc.
Then we have names like Vangjush Dako, the former mayor of Durrës and Sali Berisha-former prime minister.
A few days ago President Biden changed the executive order for the Balkans and it is said that there may be other names non grata these days, before he leaves the Oval Office.
