Sali Berisha seems to save the Freedom Party from the meltdown. Just as "Pamphlet" warned a few days ago, it is expected that in the elections of May 11, Sali Berisha will enter Ilir Meta and some other PL representatives in the lists of the Democratic Party.
In the 2023 elections, it was Meta who saved Berisha, since the latter had neither a logo nor a seal. It seems that now the Doctor will return the debt to Meta, who sends him to prisons. Based on the polls that have come out so far, PL has reached the bottom and if it goes to the elections alone, it will hardly get any deputies. However, Berisha will use PD as a butler for Meta and PL himself. This was confirmed today by himself after a meeting he had with the structures in Pogradec.
" Regarding the lists for the elections in coalition with the Freedom Party and other parties, we are confident of victory. It's our turn. Everything will be determined by negotiations. It's our turn ," said Berisha.
Meta is in jail, but the law does not prohibit him from running and he is expected to be in a safe area on the list of the Democratic Party of Tirana. It is also expected that he will include his loyalists such as Tedi Blushin or Erisa Xijhon.
If Meta becomes a deputy, then we will have a new precedent. First he will have to swear as a deputy and we don't know if justice will allow it or not, taking the example of Beler.
If he takes the oath and receives the mandate, he automatically has immunity and SPAK will have to release him from the cell and ask the Assembly to remove his immunity, in order to arrest him again.
