Deputies of the Assembly of Albania can be said without fear that they belong to the poorest class of society.

Most of them have real estate, expensive cars and a lot of money in their accounts. But even though they own millions, a few months ago they increased their salaries, receiving nearly 3,000 euros per month. But this scandal deepens even more, since a large number of deputies have other income without doing any work at all, such as rent.

For several days, " Pamphlet" has published a series of articles on the assets of politicians. Today we are showing the names that have earned millions during 2022 from rent. Based on their declarations in the ILDKP, it turns out that there are 34 names that have benefited a lot from renting. Some even capture hundreds of thousands of euros. The list includes many well-known names such as Eduard Shalsi, Lulzim Basha, Fatmir Xhafaj, Dashnor Sula, Olta Xhaçka or Lefter Gështenja.

Many of them have apartments, shops, garages and various facilities that they rent out. But if you look at the statements, the scandal is that despite having benefited thousands of euros from the rent, the deputies took care to declare that they also received allowances and other benefits, without giving up at any moment.
