Health, how Edi Rama destroyed the most basic state service!
Edi Rama and the prisoner Ilir Rrapaj /

What Edi Rama has called Health Reform, is nothing but a deepening of the privatization of the public health sector that Sali Berisha had started with Klodian Allajbeu...

Currently SPAK has closed an investigation on one of the concessions of the Health sector, that of sterilizations, where the highest pyramid of the ministry is accused. Meanwhile, the Parliament has set up two investigative commissions for these state contracts.

This pact between Rama and Berisha has a big impasse, as it not only excluded other concessions from the parliamentary investigation, but there is a risk that this investigation, according to precedents, will affect the SPAK investigation.

Meanwhile, what comes naturally as a question mark and conclusion of what Edi Rama has called Health Reform, is that there is no reform. There is only a deepening of the privatization of the public health sector that Sali Berisha had started.

When Rama took over the government, in the public health system, the private sector was given the food of the patients, the washing of sheets and clothes, the parking of the Mother Teresa University Center. Meanwhile, half of the military hospital was given to the private sector, starting from the operating rooms.

When Rama came to power, he gave the sterilization of operating equipment, laboratories, check-up, i.e. basic analyses, to the private sector.

What is left of the public health system? Only the emergency room and the doctors, nurses, paramedics and employees paid by the state.

Here is really the big problem of public health, since the basis of the system are the doctors. Who are evaluated by the state in a scandalous way. So a well-known surgeon or specialist is paid the same as other doctors. And this has led to the taking over of state doctors by the private sector, as the motivation of doctors to increase the quality of their service is lacking. As they are paid the same as a doctor who makes simple visits.

And precisely this mismatch has brought a big conflict in the system, where it provoked the mass migration of specialists, but also the non-functioning of a system, which is not only state.

Edi Rama's health reform was simply awarding contracts to the private sector, but no reformulation of the system.

Throughout Europe, the basis of the public system is the doctor, and from him the system is reformed. In the sense that excellence is motivated, where the best doctor who can bring in patients and treat them receives the bonuses of the services he provides. Because even in private hospitals, at the core of their work are famous doctors who absorb patients and provide income.

In other words, the essence of this whole fable is that Edi Rama and Ilir Beqaj, not only have not reformed health care, but have charged the citizen to pay more, either in person or with a private bill. This is not only a failure but an abuse, a violation, a great waste of duty, for which no one else is responsible but the one who raised or drafted this crooked vision. Add here the drug monopoly, where the most scandalous drugs came into the country to support actors of the 'tomdosh' type or others who were clients of the government. Contracts were given to drug dealers who were involved in cigarettes. All this, more than a political mistake, is a drastic criminal offense that needs to be investigated by the competent bodies - alias SPAK./ Pamphlet
