The leader of the Democratic Party is holding a meeting with opposition parties and civil society.
In his speech during the meeting, Berisha described Albania as a dangerous country for Europe. The DP leader emphasized that Albania is the head of the most powerful cartels in Europe.
Among others, Berisha has given credit to President Donald Trump for declaring drug cartels as terrorist organizations, while emphasizing that Albania ranks alongside Colombia.
"I express the belief that the conclusion or end of this meeting with a common front in these critical times that Albania is going through is the most appropriate response, it is the truest responsibility that we take at this moment before our country and nation."
The former deputy prime minister warned Edi Rama that this is the destruction of the economy, while he insisted that this is money and money is important. No country has proven as much as the Albanians how toxic drug money is, the money of the cartels, how destructive this money is for the law and the economy of a country. Today we end up a NATO ally, a danger to Europe. We must recognize a merit of Donald Trump who declared drug cartels terrorist organizations.
"Albania could be ranked second after Venezuela, or alongside Colombia. Official Albania today is the head of the most powerful cartels in Europe," Berisha said.
