The meeting of the Presidency of the Democratic Party was accompanied by numerous debates and clashes yesterday.
As a group of MPs were about to leave the meeting, as they were not being heard, MP Flutura Açka called them palaces. Meanwhile, Saimir Korreshi's reaction was also immediate, who asked him how he is not ashamed.
"These palaces are gone and gone.", said Açka, while Korreshi replied: "Why are you talking like that, why aren't you ashamed?".
After 10 hours of meetings, the Presidency of the Democratic Party came out with the decision to hold elections for the party leader on July 29 in the conditions when Jorida Tabaku also refused to lead the party.
This decision brought tension in the meeting, since the deputies, who are also members of the Presidency, have not accepted that the elections will be held soon.
Some MPs left the meeting after demanding that first the grassroots elections be held, and then the new president be appointed.
Gazment Bardhi, Saimir Korreshi, Helidon Bushati, Dashnor Sula, Lefter Geshtenja, Bledion Nallbati, Dhurata Çupi left the meeting.
In the meantime, we remember that the possibility of Lulzim Basha nominating him again to run the DP has remained open even though he has not done anything official so far.
