During today's police operation ordered by SPAK in Durrës, citizen Enea Kume, who turns out to be the brother of Socialist Party MP Loer Kume, was also arrested by the police.
The latter, who was in the news studio of "Ora News" in an interview where he spoke about his new experience as a new deputy of the Albanian Parliament and who comes from the ranks of the Socialist Party, could not help but be asked about this issue by moderator Lili Saraçi.
Found unprepared and in a complete lack of information about what had happened, Kume stated that he was aware of the operation and as long as there is no guilty verdict, he considers his brother innocent.
"I was informed last night that he has been arrested and is a suspect, and as long as there is no guilty verdict, I will consider him innocent until justice speaks."
"But everyone is responsible for their life and the decisions they make in their life, but let's not talk too soon," said MP Loer Kume.
The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) and the State Police have conducted an operation in the city of Durrës. So far, 9 security measures have been issued.
Enea Kume, brother of Socialist Party MP Loer Kume, has been arrested. Enea Kume is accused of alienating property in the Lalëzi Bay area.
Also arrested is Vullnet Muça, who is the brother of Aleksandër Laho, otherwise known as 'Rrumi i Shijakut'.
Meanwhile, Aleksandër Laho himself has been sentenced by the Special Anti-Corruption Court (SAC) to 3 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Active corruption against persons exercising public functions", committed in collaboration.
Laho's sentence has been reduced to two years due to the summary trial regarding the alienation of 45 thousand m2 of land in Lalzi Bay.
Laho is accused of giving the State Attorney's official, Irgen Kërçuku, 600 thousand lekë and promising him another 300 thousand lekë, to not appeal a property case related to the alienation of 45 thousand square meters of public land in Lalzi Bay. The lawsuit in this case was filed with the prosecution by Pal Seçuni, who at the time was complaining about the decisions of the Durrës Mortgage Board regarding the alienation of the property.
