SPAK and BKH inspections in the Municipality of Tepelena...
The Special Prosecution Office and BKH agents landed today in the Municipality of Tepelena.
According to media reports, SPAK is suspected of launching an investigation after reports of tender abuses by former mayor Tërmet Peçi, who will be an MP from September. According to sources, documents and other digital materials have been seized.
The Peçi earthquake was reported to SPAK by the Democratic Party on April 30.
The complaint was made in reference to the show "Plug" where it was reported that the director of the Municipality of Tepelena, Lorenc Bami, in 2017, on behalf of his wife Aleksandra Bami and in collaboration with citizen Hekuran Hoxha, founded the company "NG STRUCTURES shpk".
This company has received 18 million euros in tenders from the municipalities of Tepelena and Gjirokastra and 66 million euros in tenders in total from public institutions, with reconstruction projects standing out.
Also, "NG STRUCTURES" turns out to be the company selected by "IUMENTIS shpk", the latter, with the firm of Tërmet Peçi, has obtained public land and a building permit for the regional slaughterhouse of the Gjirokastër District, and then transfers the money to the company of Lorenc Bami's wife.
Meanwhile, after leaving as a shareholder from the company NG STRUCTURES, Aleksandra Bami, the wife of director Lorenc Bami, founded the company “Artreum Generation” with founding partner Mateo Shehu, the son of Gjolek Shehu, the owner of “IUMENTIS”. The company “Artreum Generation” has been subcontracted in another tender in the Municipality of Memaliaj for the construction of the Water Supply.
Also, Tërmet Peçi's sister, Manjola Haska, a teacher and school principal, has become an investor and beneficiary of AZHBR funds, after her brother, the mayor, donated thousands of square meters of public land in the village of Rexhin for the construction of an agrotourism farm and received a fund worth 220,000 euros from IPARD funds.

Tërmet Peçi ran in the May 11 elections and emerged victorious. He will be a member of parliament from September, but if SPAK discovers violations, it is unknown whether he will complete his mandate.
