Democratic MP Gazment Bardhi clashed with Parliament Speaker Elisa Spiropali, telling her that the latter postponed the proceedings of the Parliament to "have lunch in Greece."
According to Bardhi, the speaker of parliament was not in Ukraine on Thursday.
On the other hand, Spiropali stated that Thursday's plenary session was not convened because many MPs were absent, not because of her absence, which would be easily replaceable.
"The plenary session should have convened on Thursday as the plenary session decided when it approved the calendar and proceedings of the Assembly.
You told us that you had a very important engagement in Ukraine. The truth is that you were not in Ukraine but were having lunch in Greece, and you even informed all the MPs about this.
"Treating the Albanian Parliament as your personal home is not only not based on regulations, but is an arrogance that goes beyond the boundaries of your daily and normal behavior," said Bardhi.
Elisa Spiropali: I am glad that you are following me step by step, but the session was not postponed for my participation in the summit, but many MPs were absent in other activities.
