The majority is again given the votes in the session...
Tom Doshi seems to have become Edi Rama's crutch in the Assembly.
Even though they insulted and clashed before the elections, Rama and Toma are inseparable "friends." As happened in the last session, in today's session, the majority has secured the quorum in the hall thanks to the PSD deputies.
The Parliament passed with 72 votes in favor the draft law submitted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and presented as an initiator by Minister Taulant Balla, on energy management in buildings. It was approved thanks to the help of two PSD deputies, Gledis Çeliku and Gertjan Deda, as well as PDIU deputy, Nusret Avdulla, who voted in favor. Meanwhile, Democratic deputy Dashnor Sula was also present at the session, who voted against.
The same situation occurred in the June 5 session, where again the SP did not secure the necessary votes and was saved by the PSD. What is striking is that many MPs have started not to attend either the sessions or the parliamentary committees.
The session today even started late because the deputies were absent. It is noticeable that those who were left out of the lists are not doing their duty. But it seems that 2 out of 3 PSD deputies regularly attend the session and help Rama.
Before the elections, it seemed that there was a clash between the SP and the PSD. Doshi attacked Rama several times, talking about corruption and links to crime within the ranks of the majority. But after the elections, he changed tack, saying that they are in an alliance.
So Rama and Doshi put on a "political show" every time their interests are compromised. Doshi was looking for attention before the elections or some more "bones"; now that the SP has the majority, he has "lowered his head" and is following Rama, hoping that he will be asked for help when he needs 84 votes.
