The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has congratulated the Albanians for the New Year through a video message on Facebook.
As he described the year we are leaving behind as difficult for the country, Tabaku said that in the new year we should have in mind how to build a better country for the future of Albanians.
" As we approach the final hours of the turn of the year, I remember quite a bit of my childhood and how this holiday turned into a small point of hope in the great darkness of the year. In a hope that binds families and creates a community that stands strong with a soul filled with hope and with the strength that we can change for the better. That tomorrow will be different.
In these difficult and challenging times, as our country is at an unsolicited crossroads, as it hopes for change and the much-requested reforms that would actually be a re-commitment to our democratic values. Those values that are not just political ideals; but they are the foundation on which we can build a future that really echoes the dreams and aspirations of every Albanian.
As we start this new journey in 2024, we must keep in mind how we can build a better Albania and build Europe here, how we can change. For such a future, we must unite around people who carry values. About people who can bring something else new. We must look forward and offer Albanians a future that does not have the shadows of the past. We must commit to providing the best. Let's go over ourselves and see what we can do better, differently ", said Tabaku, among others.
