The head of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule, spoke about Rama's meeting with immigrants in Athens. Dule stated that Rama used the immigrants for his own trouble, since his relations with Greece are at their lowest point, adding that they need them to cooperate.
He said that Rama is doing his best to recover relations with Mitsotakis. Dule emphasized that when Rama had a good relationship with Greece, he did not deserve to call the emigrants.
"The meeting had nothing to do with the interests of immigrants, this visit and meeting, but only Rama's narrowest interest. Rama, with the positions he has held recently after having a very good relationship with Mitsotakis, with his political actions, has lost this relationship and is doing his best to recover this relationship.
Where is the role with immigrants, is Rama's tendency to instrumentalize them, he wanted this meeting as a demonstration of strength but also as a kind of seduction. No one would have the slightest skepticism that any prime minister would want to hold a meeting with immigration to listen to their concerns and address them properly.
Rama's lunch with Mitsotakis, recalled immigrants and immigration during that visit. We did not invite any of the most accomplished immigrants to the opening of Rama's exhibition in Greece. When he had good relations with Greece, he did not deign to call the emigrants. There is no way that emigration in such a gathering was not expressed by any of its representatives," said Dule.
