Mocking the citizens/ Rama removes tolls on Rruga e Kombit for the KLA protest
Edi Rama

On the very day that Albin Kurti went back in time to remind Edi Rama of the sins of the past, when he was traveling by plane to Pristina to establish the Special Court, Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku made a decision that reminds the citizens of Kosovo of another sin of Edi Rama; the imposition of a toll on Rruga e Kombit.

In a post on social media, Balluku announces that he has made a symbolic decision to lift the Kombit road tax on October 17, when a protest in support of the UÇĶ commanders takes place in Tirana.

"Rruga e Kombit free of charge on October 17! "Freedom has a name - Justice for the liberators", we unite in Tirana for justice, dignity and the truth of the Kosovo liberation war," Balluku writes on social networks.

But the effect of this symbolic act of lifting the tax for just one day is quite the opposite.

By facilitating the protesters who will travel from Kosovo, Balluku has done nothing but remind hundreds of thousands of Kosovo citizens that it was Edi Rama's government that imposed this tax on them, even though the road was a state investment, paid for by the taxes of Albanian citizens.

This small act ordered by Rama is enough to show how hypocritical Rama's government's approach towards Kosovo is, which it has always seen as a tool in the service of personal ambitions./ Lapsi
