"Don't act like an EU envoy", Gërvalla 'slaps' Rama: It's not up to him to teach us

Kosovo's Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla has spoken about the Rama-Kurti conflict after Rama sent the draft for the association to the EU.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, she said that the prime minister of Albania cannot deal with Kosovo as an EU envoy, since Kosovo does not see Albania as part of the international scene, but as a sister state.

" Rama cannot behave with Kosovo the way the EU representative behaves because we have citizens on both sides of the border and not only should we strengthen cooperation but we can become the best example. It is not even up to the prime minister of Albania and the prime ministers of other countries in the region to tell us where the mayors of municipalities elected by vote should stay. We are grateful to those who try to contribute, but the contribution is not made by canceling meetings or depositing drafts in Berlin and France, but by sitting together and finding solutions that work", said Gërvalla .
