Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in his daily speech from the window of his apartment, has chosen to speak for the youth of the country.
Berisha emphasized that young people cannot accept deception as truth.
"Young people are never the ones who can accept deception for truth, or as the people say, soap for cheese.
They cannot accept that Sali Berisha was corrupt, even though his whole life is an unwavering battle against corruption.
But after 3 years of comprehensive investigations, not only in Albania, but all over the world, you know, they have found their shame.
They haven't found a fact, document, proof to present to you", said Berisha.
The former prime minister continued to make accusations about his conviction.
According to Berisha, Edi Rama is the one who should be punished for corruption, taking into account that he was also caught in the act for the "McGonigal" case.
"They can never accept that he is arrested for corruption, while Edi Rama was caught red-handed bribing McGonigal with 225,000 euros.
By corrupting tens of millions of euros with oil licenses, etc., I fought corruption.
Not young people can never accept these.
No one can sell them the trick for the truth.
Therefore, they are today more ready than ever in this battle without return for the victory of the truth, the victory of the opposition.
But here in front of you and on your behalf, I want to give you my word, I guarantee them that the Albania they are fighting for will be the Albania of freedom and human rights and that the power of the DP will be the power of Albanian young men and women, wherever they are, in Albania and the world.
Today they constitute an extraordinary power for the country, the nation. A real power that has never existed before to move quickly towards the most advanced horizons", said Berisha.
