The Deputy of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, has spoken about the situation of the opposition and the conflict between the parties.
He said that he felt sorry for Lulzim Basha and called him a "clown of the government".
Regarding the stamp issue, Gjekmarkaj says that it should be given to the majority, since Lulzim Basha does not have it.
He added that the choices he made in the Democratic Party were not recognized.
"As for the law on criminal amnesty, the majority is doing the anti-Salianji amnesty. Basha should not turn into a government clown. Basha has neither a stamp nor a sigil, his elections have not been recognized. The court should give the stamp of the DP to the majority. The union of the DP is the minimum, for victory then even more work is needed. We must unite as a Democratic Party. I would like Blinken to visit representatives of the opposition. Even Mr. Blinken when he was in Tirana did not criticize the opposition for anything and this is of great importance", said Gjekmarkaj.
Agron Gjekmarkaj emphasized that Zelensky's visit improves Albania's image, but added that he thinks that Rama is making propaganda with such visits.
According to him, Albania's aid would have been more valuable with concrete works, such as food aid, etc. and not in talks where even internationals have not resolved anything.
"Prime Minister Edi Rama makes propaganda with the Summits of Tirana. I don't know what Rama will discuss with Zelenski, but these are world issues that the USA and Western countries are not solving and Albania cannot solve. I would say that it would be better for Rama to declare that we will help Ukraine with eggs, food, etc. I believe that concrete help would be worth more than words and propaganda. I think that Rama is using all the visits, either by Blinken or by Zelenski, to prove to the people that he supposedly has the support of the international community. Sometimes, these visits make you laugh at your courage", Gjekmarkaj told News 24.
