Criminal amnesty/ SP withdrew from the amendment that includes the officials

The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, said that the PD is determined to vote only one draft law, the one that does not include the officials investigated by SPAK and tried in the GJKKO.

He says that they are not looking for bargains and that they do not want the law to be voted on secretly. The DP deputy adds that the language of arrogance and threats is unacceptable.

Alibeaj also says that he welcomes the withdrawal of the majority from the exclusion of those convicted of corruption by the GJKKO.

The Democratic Party is determined to vote for only one Draft Law on Criminal Amnesty, which serves ordinary and vulnerable citizens and does not include the officials investigated by SPAK and tried in the GJKKO.

Sticking to principles and values, for the Democratic Party, are not conditions, but are the only way and solution for an amnesty for the benefit of the people and not for the benefit of the corrupt. For us, the language of arrogance and threats is unacceptable, because we have been clear and continue to be in relation to what we ask for, making them public.

The Democratic Party of Albania does not seek bargains and does not want laws to be voted secretly and secretly, but will do everything in full transparency, where the public interest prevails.

We welcome the withdrawal of the majority from the exclusion of those convicted of corruption by the GJKKO, this being an unconditional support for the institutions of SPAK and the GJKKO, and we agree that the amnesty should include all protesters, regardless of time and the period in which they protested", writes Alibeaj.
