The parliamentary session was once again engulfed in tension after its resumption. After the previous interruption due to the fierce debate in the hall, the clashes between the majority and opposition deputies continued with even stronger tones.
Earlier, there was a clash between Taulant Balla and the DP deputies, after while speaking about the prime minister's proposal for EU membership without the right to vote, he addressed the opposition: " We said we would ask you once, because we didn't have time. Really, really, really, really, we didn't have your phone number to call you and say: hey, what do you think about this? 0900, because I have this number for you. For you, Albana. Definitely ." This brought tensions and debates, as the session was interrupted.
Upon its resumption, Taulant Balla attempted to take the floor to clarify the declaration, but the situation immediately became tense due to the reactions of opposition MPs.
At one point, Democratic Party MP Klevis Balliu approached Balla in the hall and attempted to hit him, causing a clash between the MPs. The situation escalated for several minutes, with noise and mutual accusations in the hall.
Other MPs intervened to avoid escalating the incident, while tensions in the Assembly continued amid shouts and intense political debate.
