The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazmend Bardhi, in a media conference, reacted after the statement of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the refusal of the interpellation in the session of the assembly on the suspicions that his brother, Olsi Rama, is involved in drug trafficking.
Bardhi said that the fact that Rama broke his fear and decided not to hide behind the statement he wrote about Olsi is a positive step.
He further added that he did not call Rama to the interpellation to ask him about the family relations that the prime minister has with Olsi Rama, but according to him, to explain to the citizens whether he received information from the state police or the Albanian or foreign secret services , for his brother's involvement in the drug laboratory in Xibraka.
" After 6 days, Prime Minister Rama overcame his first fear and decided not to hide behind the written statements he made on behalf of his brother. It is a positive first step to have his reaction in this matter.
In order to maintain his status as prime minister, he must break the other fear of implementing the constitution and accept the development of the interpellation in tomorrow's session. According to the constitution and the regulation of the parliament, a Chairman of the parliamentary group or a group of 7 deputies have the constitutional right to call the prime minister or the ministers of the government for questioning.
I didn't call Rama as Olsi Rama's brother to explain his family relationship with Olsi, but I called him in the interpellation to inform the public opinion whether or not he received information from the state police or the Albanian or foreign secret services for the involvement of his brother in the drug laboratory in Xibraka.
This is a matter of justice, the guilt or innocence of a person who commits a crime, and this has been my appeal since day one. Rama has not dared to object even a word in those documents that are in the justice file. Bardhi does not say that the two prosecutors promoted by Rama and the structures of the state police have conducted a deficient investigation, but he says the file and the decisions of the courts that have investigated a part of the criminal group in Xibraka. The state police has uncovered the work and operation of the prosecution.
The file says that the user of the car AA 653 DM could not be identified by the police of Rama, they found his age fixed but do not know his name. The TIMS system has proven that Olsi Rama is the user of the AA 653 DM car, and the same vehicle was used by Genci Xjixha, Gnetian Gjonaj and Ermal Hoxha. Rama has said everything except for one simple question: why did Olsi Rama use the same vehicle with the criminal group when the drug laboratory was set up in Xibraka and what connects them to these persons , he said.
