Accusations, insults and clashes, Garda avoids physical clash between Braçe-Shehaj...
A fierce debate was recorded today in the Parliament between Socialist MP Erion Braçe and the leader of the "Mundësia" Party, Agron Shehaj, which has degraded into personal accusations and verbal clashes.
The spark of the debate was a statement by Shehaj, who called Braçe a "little thief", which brought an immediate reaction from the socialist MP. The latter stood up from his seat and addressed Shehaj to demand an accounting.
" You are a petty thief ," he said to Shehaj-Braçe, while the latter replied: " I told you that thief once, you made a fool of yourself, you even apologized ."
The debate continued in harsh tones, with Shehaj denying having apologized and repeating the accusation: " No, no, I have not apologized. You are a petty thief. You are petty in everything ."
Then Braçe headed towards Shehaj's chair, but Gara intervened.
The leader of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, also intervened in the clash, who from the podium leveled strong accusations against Shehaj, calling him a "fine-bearer".
" You are a criminal. You ran away from a businessman. Just like you did to your party by stealing the data ," Balla said, recalling previous accusations against Shehaj for stealing voter data during his time as part of the Democratic Party.
The clash between MPs reflects ongoing tensions in the Assembly hall, where debates often shift from political discussions to personal accusations.
