The leader of the Macedonian Alliance for European Integration Party, Vasil Sterjovski, who is running on the SP's open list for the Korça district, has revealed details of the agreement between the two parties for the May 11 elections.
According to Sterjovski, the lack of space for representation on the right-wing's open lists for small parties was the reason he withdrew from the coalition and joined the Socialist Party. "They didn't give us a place on the list ," he said.
For the MP who represented the Macedonian minority in the Assembly, the Electoral Code remains problematic in terms of space for small parties and especially for minorities who, according to him, should have their place in Parliament.
Sterjovski told "TCH" that he sees the representation of minorities in Parliament as the only opportunity for representing and protecting their interests.
