A simple verification shows that in just 2 weeks, nearly 65,000 dollars were spent by the Presidency on per diems and plane tickets.
President Bajrma Begaj seems to have begun to enjoy the position to the fullest. While he has forgotten to talk about legal matters and political problems, Begaj and his staff are enjoying the luxury of traveling abroad. At the beginning of the task, Begaj felt awkward, but now it seems that he is left in the air. The president has successfully traveled from one country to another, while not even his staff is left behind.
At least this is implied by the data of the Ministry of Finance regarding the transactions carried out in the Treasury. A simple verification shows that in just 2 weeks, nearly 65,000 dollars were spent by the Presidency on per diems and plane tickets.
On September 12 and 13, requests were submitted for 4 transactions with a total value of nearly ALL 45 million. While the last transaction was made on September 26, worth 21 million old ALL.
The last transaction concerns the president's trip to the USA where he attended the UN meeting. Begaj took his wife, his wife's hairdresser and some 20 advisers with him. So their trip has cost the Albanians nearly 20 thousand dollars for plane tickets and staying there.
