Smokers and tensions in the Assembly, Basha: They only served Rama, the

The head of the Democratic Party has considered the opposition's protests in the Parliament to be a smokescreen as a way that has only served Prime Minister Rama.

During a press conference with journalists, Lulzim Basha said that this way of being an opposition did not prevent the passage of the budget, which in fact was approved by the majority in 4 minutes.

"The opposition is not the one that shouts the loudest. He is the one who makes the transparency, shows the responsible and presents the alternative. Is there anyone who doesn't understand that obstructing the work of the parliament with cigarette smoke serves Edi Rama? What is achieved? Did the budget get in the way? No! The biggest budget in Albania passed in 4 minutes. Not only did it not serve him, but the public interest is harmed. Therefore, my call is to act with these 3 inalienable mottos of the opposition's conception", said Basha.

He said that in front of the Rama government, the 3 concepts of being an opposition should be even stronger.

"We do not have a normal government in front of us. I understand this very well. Frustration with tactics to avoid responsibility and divert public debate. But we should not entertain these alibis. And we must engage even more strongly in such a situation, there is no more time, it is 2024. Albanians have no more time to see a show from which the only one who has benefited is Edi Rama. That's why DP has set this political agenda open for anyone to contribute to the electoral reform, open lists, electronic voting, the vote of the diaspora", said the leader of the DP.
