Democratic leader Sali Berisha appeared wearing a dark blue hat with the number 1 printed on it, which coincides with the number that the 'Greater Albania Alliance' coalition has on the ballot.
This performance by Berisha has attracted attention, given the fact that the democratic leader has not worn a hat in any of the electoral campaigns.
It seems that the Democratic leader has made an effort, or an attempt, to imitate Donald Trump, the American President, who throughout the campaign appeared wearing red hats with the MAGA symbol on his head.
With his hat on, Berisha appeared at the electoral meeting with supporters in Kamëz, where he presented parts of the DP program.
"Albanians didn't leave because they wanted to leave, but they left because they couldn't buy medicine in their country, but they left because they couldn't pay their loans in their country, but they left because they couldn't buy houses in their country.
And finally they left and left because in an unprecedented act, the citizens of Kamza, the citizens of Albania, who in 2013 were paid more than all the citizens of other Balkan countries, fell lower and lower during these 12 years.

During these 12 years, the prices of essential goods and foods doubled.
They bought bread for 400-500 lek in 2013, today they buy it for 900-1000 lek.
They used to buy meat for 7 thousand lek, today they buy it for 18 thousand lek.
They bought vegetables 4 times cheaper than today.
So what happened? It turned out that what they bought with their 2013 pension, they couldn't buy even with three times that amount in 2024.
Goods became a forbidden apple, apartments a forbidden apple for young people.
Workplaces are being destroyed and destroyed every day.
This government rushed into taxes.
This government ignored, denied, humiliated Albania's pensioners.
A pensioner who in 2013 received an average pension of 143 thousand lek, received more than any of his peers in surrounding countries.
What is the situation today? Today, a pensioner in Montenegro receives 450 euros, while a pensioner in Albania receives 170 euros.
A pensioner in Macedonia receives 405 euros.
A pensioner in Serbia receives 430 euros.
A pensioner in Kosovo receives 190 euros.
In Albania, the average person receives 170 euros. Only 43 percent of pensioners receive this much, 57 percent of them receive a partial pension.
Dear friends, this was an inhumane, humiliating attitude towards a third of the population.
Therefore, I pledge to you that in the first 100 days, there will be no pensioner in Albania who will not receive 200 euros.
And let me tell you a little something about that 2-meter-tall coward who hides and can't come out, after you caught him red-handed stealing, he can't come out to confront you on television or on stage. No.
What does he say? He says that if we increase the pension by 200 euros, we will fall into the abyss. Whereas yesterday he declared that we will do it in 2030.
"Is there a more irresponsible, more cynical statement?" said Berisha.
