The Municipal Council of Tirana has approved the decision to provide additional funds for the Sharra incinerator.

At a time when SPAK has seized the property and is investigating the officials who were involved in the robbery of state funds, the leftist councilors approved this act without making any reaction.

The councilor of the opposition, Ilir Alimehmeti, for his part, was critical of this meeting. He informed that the incinerator is seized by SPAK.

"Today the City Council made another 6 million euros available to the seized incinerator. We could not agree", Alimehmeti said.
