The American election campaign strategist, who for May 11 is helping the DP and its allies included in the 'Greater Albania Alliance' coalition, Chris LaCivita, was at the center of an article in the prestigious "The Guardian".

He appeared in a video "trap" by The Guardian journalists, which revealed that LaCivita had also been to Australia to advise the Liberals there on structural problems. A visit, which he himself says was supposed to be discreet.

But what is striking is that when journalists mention his presentation in Albania, LaCivita laughs heartily, saying that "it is a country where American interference in elections is encouraged."

LaCivita is advising the Democratic Party in the election campaign, being presented by Berisha as a strategist close to Donald Trump.

"I don't care about that level of attention. Discretion is generally how, believe it or not, I try to maintain some discretion. Albanians had a different mindset. It's a place where American interference in their elections is encouraged. Everywhere else, not so much," says LaCivita.

LaCivita was last in Albania at the campaign rally, where he gave a speech that lasted only 35 seconds. He then left Albania, but maintains online contact with the campaign coordination group, where he appears to be providing advice, although he may find it difficult to understand the Albanian political and electoral environment.

LaCivita has on several occasions been involved in remote exchanges with Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is aiming for a 4th consecutive term at the head of government, labeling the socialist leader as a Sorosian.

On the other hand, Rama has chosen to 'baptize' Chris Lacivita with the name 'Latif'.
