The political leader of the Democratic Party for the Diaspora, Jozefina Topalli, has called on Albanian emigrants to register to vote on May 11. Topalli addressed emigrants, telling them that they are an extraordinary electoral factor.
During the meeting with Albanian emigrants in Milan, Jozefina Topalli said that only with their vote can rotation be achieved and Albania become a better country.
"Dear sisters and brothers, we are glad we found you! Today I have not come as a politician or a friend, but as an Albanian who has heard throughout this period the pain of emigration, the pride of your achievements.
Today we are physically in Milan, but with our hearts we are in Albania, in your birthplace that you have never left behind.
During this period, I have heard many stories, stories that you keep inside your soul. I know many here, I know that many of you have fled by boat from Vlora, Durrës and Shëngjin. The most beautiful thing is that you have never stopped, on the contrary, you have not left Albania behind, you have taken it with you.
"It is time to pray to you once again. There are only two days to register and change everything in your homeland. You are an extraordinary electoral factor. Only we there together and you here can make the rotation possible. Albanians outside the borders of Albania will change our future for a better and fairer Albania ," she said.
