The jury composed of Alma Ahmeti, Iliba Bezati and Elona Toro will decide today on the seal of the DP.
The two Secretaries for Legal Affairs, Ivi Kaso and Indrit Sefa, as representatives of the parties, have appealed for fair decision-making.
Kaso asked the Court not to accept the appeal made by Alibeaj against the decision of judge Agron Zhukri. Meanwhile, Lulzim Basha's other lawyer, Rezart Kthupi, has stated that there is only one party in the process, the Democratic Party of Albania.
Part of the discussions in the session:
Rezart Kthupi: We are in the conditions of a continuation of the exercise of party management with authorization first from Mr. Basha and then from Mr. Alibeaj. The animated subject is not Alibeaj, but PDSH. This court has the duty to clarify who has the rights of representation. Basha did indeed resign, but he did not submit it to the Court. There is no vacuum for party leadership. We request that the motion be dismissed and proceed to trial on the merits. It is not a conflict of legal parties.
Indrit Sefa: The Supreme Court is very clear with the representation fees. The authorization does not expire when the authorizer has resigned. Alibeaj represents the Democratic Party.
Ivi Kaso: Like KAS, like the Electoral College, they say that the resignation is a universally recognized fact and there was no need to submit it as a document.
The court will express at the end of the trial about the request of Kasos, that "Alibeaj should not be a party to the process". The seal hearing follows…
