"As long as there are people in the DP who do not think about the party, about the Democrats, about Albania, but only think about their own seat, these results will occur." This is what Dashnor Sula, a former DP MP, said in the A2 CNN studio, commenting on the preliminary results of the elections in Albania.
Sula emphasized that if the DP continues to blame others, it will have no future.
"There is no point in continuing with excuses. In 2021 we lost and we did not do an analysis, this worries me. I have a different approach from others in politics, but also in my family life. I look at what I have done and do not initially look for fault in others. You have to correct yourself first and then look for fault in your opponent. 4 things have buried the DP in these elections: the divided opposition; the quality of the candidate list, soldiers were needed, not generals; Berisha, who has completed his mission, needed another figure for prime minister; SPAK should have been his best ally," said Sula.
