May 11 elections, Rama: Luli left those in the swamp with trauma, then the owl

In the 'Eye to Eye' column, Prime Minister Edi Rama was asked about the May 11 elections, and expressed his belief that citizens' votes will go to the Socialist Party.

Rama said that in this way it will be a vote for Albania or, conversely, for other parties it will be a return to the swamp.

"It is a very clear choice, the choice this time and on May 11. The choice through the vote is clear, either a vote for me and for us together for Albania to join the EU or for the swamp and to return back to the quack quack quack pit. Those who will vote for them will be very badly affected," he said.

Prime Minister Edi Rama responded to a comment from a citizen, who wrote: 'Since 2013, the Germans have welcomed many Albanians who have fled your misgovernment.'

Rama announced that the number of people who have left is 400,000 since the SP took office in 2013, while emphasizing that every citizen has the right to move to the country of their choice.

'You who speak on behalf of the swamp have a bad thing because Luli left you with great trauma and then the owl got in the way and you don't understand what you are talking about. From 2013 to 2024, according to the census, there are 400 thousand in total who have moved and Albania is 2.4 million and those who have moved are within their rights, because we are no longer in Comrade Enver's bunker or in the time of the pyramids, but we are in a free world,' he said.
