Democratic leader Sali Berisha has conditioned the opposition's participation in two special parliamentary committees, that of Electoral and Territorial Reform, on the presence of internationals.
While the Socialists have presented their proposal for the establishment of two commissions, which will consist of 17 MPs each, with 9 SP members and 8 opposition members, Berisha stated during a media conference that the DP requires the presence of internationals.
"They claim two commissions, but there will be no commission without the Congress of Regional and Local Authorities for Territorial Reform and without the ODIHR and the Venice Commission."
