The Minister of Justice in Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, said that in the following days, the vice-president of the Serbian List, Milan Radoicic, is expected to be declared internationally wanted.
"Based on the legislation in force, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), submits a request for an international arrest warrant. The request is directed to the Court and then addressed through the Ministry of Justice. We are waiting for the Court. We will act immediately and without delay", declared Haxhiu.
In a video published by the Minister of the Interior in Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, it was clear that the vice president of the Serbian List, Milan Radojicic, was part of and led the terrorist attack by the armed Serbian group on the Kosovo Police in the village of Banjské in Zveçan on September 24, 2023. where officer Afrim Bunjaku remained dead.
What happened in the north of Kosovo?
A Kosovo Police officer was killed and 3 others were injured in clashes with an armed group in the north of the country. Sergeant Bunjaku was killed in the ambush that the armed group took early in the morning at the entrance to the village of Banjské in Zveçan. During the exchange of fire, 2 other policemen were injured. Then the armed group of 30 members was placed in the monastery of Banjska where for hours, throughout the whole day on Sunday, shots were exchanged with the police. In the evening, the interior minister of Kosovo declared that 4 attackers were killed. The three bodies of the Serbs were found on the same day, while the fourth one a day later. Meanwhile, six other people, who were suspected to be related to them, were arrested. A large amount of weaponry was also seized.
