The body of Liridona Ademaj will be buried today in the cemetery of the village of Rracaj, municipality of Gjakova, where she was born. After it was discovered that her husband staged the murder, her family requested that she be exhumed from the cemetery in her husband's home village.
"Obituary notice from the Ademaj family. The Ademaj family announces to friends, comrades and well-wishers that the reburial of our daughter Liridona Ademaj, who was killed on 29.11.2023, will take place today, 4 December 2023, in the cemetery of the village of Rracaj at 2:00 p.m., said the announcement of Liridona's family.
The family members of the deceased submitted a written request to prosecutor Besa Limani to allow the exhumation and reburial of Liridona near the village of Rracaj.
"Dear prosecutor, we ask you to enable us to exhume and rebury the body of our daughter Liridona Ademaj in the village of Rracaj. This is a very difficult procedure and experience for us and we have taken this decision with great difficulty, but we want her to rest in her home", was written in the request of Liridona's family members.
Naim Murseli, who is the husband of the deceased, is suspected of having ordered her murder, paying 30 thousand euros to a person to commit the crime.
