New details have been revealed from Naim Murseli's contradictory statements regarding the murder of Liridona Ademaj, where he first admitted and then denied that he had ordered the murder of his wife.
The spokesperson of the Prosecution of Pristina, Laureta Ulaj said that despite the initial statement of Liridona Ademaj's husband that he was the one who ordered her murder, no further details can be given in order not to damage the procedure.
In the last hearing, Naim Murseli stated that he did not run away from the scene and was even in danger, thus denying his involvement in the murder of his wife, a contradictory statement compared to the first one.
"We must bear in mind that we are at the beginning stage of the investigation procedure and only yesterday was the hearing that was held within the framework of the approval of the prosecution's request. Suspicions lead to a serious murder with staged robbery and from the suspicions until now, the deceased's husband has carried out these actions by staging it as a robbery and had promised the amount of money of 30 thousand euros. At the stage we are in now, the prosecutor's office in coordination with the police and other institutions is working towards clarifying all these doubts and for this case to reach a final epilogue", said Ulaj in Euronews Albania.
