While the anger of the West has been unleashed on the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti as the instigator, according to the internationals of the tensions in the north, Aleksandër Vucic appeared in their eyes as a conciliator.
After the meeting held in Belgrade with the US envoys for the Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, and the EU envoy, Miroslav Lajçak, the Serbian head of state said that his country has always been coherent while reminding Pristina of the obligations it must fulfill, starting from the Association.
" It is time for the authorities in Kosovo to fulfill what they have promised, first of all to form the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority. From the first day, Serbia has been constructive, consistent and a stable partner in all processes that would lead to maintaining stability in the whole region" , he wrote on social networks.
The representatives of the Serbian List, which repeated its demands for the withdrawal of the Kosovo police to the north, new elections, and also the creation of an association of municipalities with a Serbian majority, met with the two high diplomats of the EU and the USA.
Lajcak explained via Twitter that he has asked Serbian politicians to participate in the new elections which will be held in the north of Kosovo.
" In Belgrade, together with Escobar, we had long discussions on the complex situation of the Serbs in Kosovo. Violence can never be accepted and a political solution to the current crisis is urgently needed. We appreciated the willingness of President Vucic to give his contribution ", wrote Lajçak.
