Vucic speaks after the meeting with Lajcak and Escobar: Kosovo should form the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, received the US and EU envoys, Gabriel Escobar and Miroslav Lajcak, in a meeting today.

According to international media, after the meeting he said that it is time for the authorities in Kosovo to fulfill their obligations and first of all to form the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

" Since the first day, Serbia has been constructive, consistent and a stable partner in all processes that would lead to maintaining stability throughout the region ," said Vucic on "Instagram".

The visit of Lajcak and Escobar comes after they held meetings in Kosovo for two days with the heads of state and representatives of the opposition parties.

The emissaries have requested that the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, calm down the situation in the north, hold new elections and return to the dialogue with Serbia.
