The Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla, has reacted again after the statement that without the USA and NATO, the EU is a "paper tiger" in terms of security.
The chief diplomat of Kosovo said that the essential issue for security in the Western Balkans is whether the EU can guarantee security and peace in Europe. After this attitude, another reaction was followed by her, but now on the Facebook social network.
In her post, she dealt with the two largest opposition parties in Koosvë, PDK and LDK. In her analysis, she says that the EU is unable and has no capacity to guarantee security. For him, the reasons are clear, as there is a lack of political will, as well as the disagreements within the European Union are large and in terms of security.
"A key question for security in the Western Balkans is: Is the EU the one that can guarantee security and peace in Europe? I think it is unable and has no capacity to guarantee security. The reasons are clear: it is missing the political will, the disagreements within the European Union are great and as far as security is concerned, without the USA and NATO, the EU is a paper tiger. The EU knows this and that is why it constantly lets loose, avoids confrontation. "
I publicly challenge the "experts" to tell us exactly which of the letters in the quote above is incorrect or untrue, before teaching with personal attacks and labeling from the most absurd. I am the deputy prime minister and minister of the Republic of Kosovo, I am not a spokesperson for the EU or any other mechanism. Like any responsible politician, I fanatically and loudly defend the truth and the interest of my country, and only my country, wherever I have the opportunity to speak, just as others defend the interest of the countries or organizations they represent.
One of the disasters of Kosovo is the miserable condition of the opposition parties and their representatives. As during the government and now in the opposition, they have no plan, no strategy, no vision, no dignity. Opposition that, apart from personal attacks, based on rumors and bombastic and inaccurate headlines, offers nothing.
As for the PDK, which tries to scare us that, if it comes to power, we will no longer have a place in Kosovo, I can only remind you that they are not the first who do not want to see me physically in the country mine. I was only 8 years old when I was expelled from my country for the first time. But those who for 19 consecutive years (1980-1999) deprived me of the right to return to my country, not even enough to return my father's remains to his land, are the ones who no longer have a place in Free Kosovo. And about LDK, I'm not talking tonight. They are talking so much to themselves, they are lamenting, cursing, cursing and lying, that every word from me would be superfluous", writes Gërvalla.
