The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, visited Hashim Thaçi and other former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army in The Hague today.
Hamza claimed on Facebook that they were fine, while emphasizing that they were being held in prison unjustly.
" The walls in The Hague cannot imprison the truth and ideals of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli and their friends. I found them in good health and full of enthusiasm for our unity. They served Kosovo with sacrifice and today they stand strong, with their heads held high, despite the injustices they are facing here."
As a citizen of Kosovo, as a friend, as a leader of the PDK and a candidate for prime minister, I personally feel these injustices. This process is now coming to an end and we expect the end to be just. Delays serve no one: neither justice, nor Kosovo, nor the international community. Kosovo is proudly welcoming its sons. Freedom has their names and they are returning home. Greetings from The Hague! I promised you that we would celebrate them on December 28! ", he writes.
