Alarm sirens were heard in North Mitrovica on Tuesday, as it became known that Serbian citizens had begun to gather in the city.
It is learned that an arrest operation has been carried out by the Kosovo Police in the north of the country. REL journalists said that an explosion was also heard. The Kosovo Police has not yet made a statement on these developments.

In the last two weeks, the relations between Kosovo and Serbia have been tense again as protests are taking place in the four northern municipalities by groups of local Serbs who are opposing the entry into the municipal facilities of the new mayors of North Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok. and Leposavic.
